A centralized and configurable Drupal multi-site codebase in the cloud.
Rice.edu moved to Drupal and the cloud. We started with a legacy theme of static HTML and CSS on Ektron CMS400.NET. The codebase was migrated to Acquia Cloud SiteFactory where we could manage the theme and module distribution as a single source in a cloud built by the CMS authors themselves.
Rice is now finalizing their enterprise web solution into Drupal 8 from Drupal 7 and their legacy theme to Bootstrap 4 using Barrio as a base. We took the opportunity to unite brand advocacy, improve visual content processes and focus on desired behaviors as well. The transformation was powerful and still improving!
